Personal Statement:
"Carol Fong is a practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine and founder of the Pou Ji Tang Acupuncture Clinic. Chinese herbalism and acupuncture have been practiced by her family for generations, and following this tradition, Carol has been an herbalist and healer for many years. In 1998, she became a licensed acupuncturist in California after studying for four years at the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco (ACTCM). She has spent many years as a student and apprentice to doctors in both the U.S. and China, co-taught classes at ACTCM.

After treating patients for many years, Carol decided to narrow her focus to women's health, specifically infertility; IVF treatments; prenatal care (including labor and birth); postpartum care; infant care; and overall health of women and families. Carol is dedicated to her patients and gives one-to-one personal care to her clients. Pou Ji Tang offers a baby friendly healing environment and Carol often treats mother and baby at the same time. Carol works closely with several prominent Bay Area midwives and has attended numerous births. Carol also works closely with many Bay Area reproductive health clinics as well as prominent infertility doctors.
